Meaningful Action is the Antidote to Despair

What's in the air for the week of February 9th?

- If you have Saturn in Pisces, your Saturn return is done!

- If you have Saturn in Aries, your Saturn return is on! (And may be the weirdest Saturn return in recent history…)

- If you are Pisces or Pisces rising, relief is on the way!

- If you’re Aries, esp. Aries rising, or Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, rising esp. - school is in session!

OVERVIEW:

This is another consequential week.

Good news first: Venus moves into Pisces, its sign of exaltation. Goodness comes through our friendships, connections, solidarity, protection, abundance, and fortune.

Moving towards a trine with Jupiter, also exalted, in Cancer, where Care is our greatest currency. This can signal uprisings in the face of tyranny, something we have to contend with (as Saturn moves into Aries).

Pisces and Cancer are both water signs, about connecting, the emotional realm, being moved through our emotions. This energy is saying I know it’s rough out there right now but don’t numb out. The good that is out there brings good luck to you when you open yourself up to it.

Venus + Jupiter wants to bring us sweetness, delight, and abundance, which we get through relationships of solidarity, sharing our bounty, letting our neighbors and our community know they matter to us.

TUESDAY the 10th, Venus moves into Pisces, gorgeous for Pisces sun & rising, as well as the other mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, and Sag.

This is an invitation to connect, remember the transformative power of art, beauty, and culture, especially in the face of tyranny, fascism, and all that we have to fight against right now.

Venus is holding up the artists, art, beauty, connection. Balance all the bad news with beauty, art, work of creative thinkers and activists, take in work of those who’ve lived through this shit before. Mercury, in the poetic sign of Pisces soaks all that up, what we’ve inherited from the generations upon generations of artists that have come before us.

WEDNESDAY the 11th - Mercury, in messy, poetic Pisces is in its fall or detriment. So the conversations we’re having here are not linear, and likely not easy.

Conjuncting the North Node, all of this is heightened. It amplifies the confusion and even misinformation perhaps, and also our ability to have conversations that connect us. It may not be logical, it might be innovative or metaphorical (1+1=3 instead of 1+1=2). Make sure no facts or data are missing.

Through all of this, Saturn is at the very very end of Pisces, ‘finishing up something really massive in our personal lives and in our collective lives.’ It won’t return to this sign for 28+ years. This may feel like a weight has shifted off of you.

However, Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn - sun & rising - you're called to be on time, be responsible, be committed, draw the necessary lines, push through. The choices you make now matter. These four signs - get ready. You'll be working with Saturn’s energy over the next 2.5 years.

FRIDAY the 13th - SATURN MOVES INTO ARIES.

We're moving into fiery, go-go-go energy. Aries is about action, energy, movement, the birth of Spring. It's the return of dormant life coming to the surface.

It's time to move!

This is one of the most transformative transits you can go through, because it makes things truly real, your voice will be amplified, like it or not. It’s important to get your bearings in reality, know what time and space you’re in and what you’ve got to work with.

Once you accept this reality check, you won’t keep wasting your energy on things (or people) you can’t change. That difficult thing that you’re determined to change, even if it takes two-or-a-few years, imagine how satisfying it will be long term to apply yourself and accomplish.

SUNDAY the 15th - Sun squares Uranus with some disruptive energy right before the eclipse that’s just around the corner, a solar eclipse in Aquarius that will carry some of this disruption energy.

Saturn moving into Aries is massive astrology. Neptune also is at zero degrees Aries. They will make their exact conjunction there on February 20, but they’re already traveling close together.

Saturn in Aries is very heated, and then next week’s eclipse catapults us into a new reality with a quickness.

Stay hydrated and well-resourced, make sure you’re eating well and getting enough rest. We want to be primed and ready to surf the waves when those opportunities to Shift arise.

SATURN + NEPTUNE - ‘Saturn is reality, form, and structure. Neptune is a force that comes along and erodes reality, form, and structure - dismantles it. Like a wave upon a rock, it eventually turns it to sand.’

Our known reality, our dependence on how certain systems work, is being eroded, by petty tyrants, fascists, nasty little putrid baby-men who are hellbent on destroying everything.

February is bringing us one of those red flag moments where we need to be straight with ourselves about the reality we’re facing, the old structures are gone, where are we now?

Everything is still at play. They don’t get to win! We are co-creating this reality, let us remember that and get busy with it!

When things are dissolved, that leaves openings, space for new things to emerge, space for building something new.

We can emerge from this, but it’s time to be super super committed to the process of disillusionment, the dissolving of the illusion we’ve been under (what, since the inception of the U.S.?!).

• What is asking to be birthed now? Personally? Collectively?

• What is your vision for the Collective in this transitory moment?

Let’s keep things in perspective and take it one step at a time.

We’re supported by the beautiful combination of Jupiter and Venus both in their exaltation, which is rare, once-in-12-years astro, only when and if Jupiter is in Cancer and Venus is in Pisces.

Connections, flooding the streets, caring for each other in the ways that matter most, in enormous, unprecedented ways. Certainly, we are seeing that in the Collective, even if it's not all being broadcast on mainstream TV / internet.

Whatever you do, find something to be engaged in during this time, be of service in your immediate locale, and see what good flows from that. ‘And it will help to channel the anxiety, the fear, the frustration, the worry, the anguish, any of it, all of it. I promise you.’

The eclipses are coming, be prepared with meaningful actions that are the antidote to despair.
