What's in the air for the Week of March 30, 2026?

There’s a depth and breadth of feeling covering this week. Celebration, confidence, but also grief, sorrow, and maybe a bit of relationship drama. We are being called to balance the scales of our life and pay attention to the revelations and insights that surface. Relationship dynamics or other areas of your life may be getting recalibrated this week.
This week is giving Grow-Up & Glow-Up energy. Lean in.
Stop giving your power away! Advocate for yourself, remember to sit on the throne of your power rather than getting sucked into emotional melodramas that drain you. If something feels inequitable, call it out, with a smile. And also, be open to notice if you are the one in the relationship that perhaps is not being equitable in the give and take of it all.
This week, we have the first full moon of the astrological new year, and in that new year, rebirth energy, it is also a special time for many people around the world because this full moon signals the coming of Passover and then Easter. That in and of itself may put some folks in a sentimental mood, much the way we find ourselves missing loved ones in the Winter holidays. Plenty of you also have family associations with this time of year and may find yourselves longing for tradition and the loved ones that have passed on.
This is also the time of year where the light is growing steadily, in intensity and length of the day, and it brings that sense of something building. Between that and this full moon, it’s a lot of light and we may find ourselves feeling a bit flooded with it, feeling stimulated, and maybe having a hard time resting!
This is big reset energy, new beginnings, and that also gives us some new things to integrate, which can be exhausting as well, so try to find your restorative spots in your day, cat naps etc.
Some folks may also be dealing with the similar challenge that happens with the Winter holidays, of going to visit with family who you may not be totally aligned with, feeling the evolution of your role and place in the family lineage, and navigating uncomfortable conversations or interactions. Let yourself go in fortified and embodied in kind but firm boundaries. Know that you have a right to protect your energy, and not everyone gets a piece of you.
MONDAY the 30th - Venus, ruler of the Libra Full Moon we are getting Wednesday, moves back into Taurus. This influence is super earthy, grounding all that fire and air energy big change we’ve been dealing with. It's only here for a short couple weeks, but this is a great influence in the part of our chart that contains Taurus, it is trying to bring us blessings, good luck, and bounty here.
Venus traveling through Taurus is bringing some great encouragement and forward momentum. Sextiling Jupiter, which is still in Cancer, it brings a nice boost to the life area of your chart that contains Taurus.
So Venus rules this big full moon, and almost as soon as it enters Taurus, it squares Pluto, touching on these themes of grief and longing, and the invitation to recalibrate around that. Remember that grief is love expressed, we feel it in the measure of our love for someone or something, and that the human experience is about experiencing these contrasts and opposites. We wouldn’t have grief if it weren’t for love. We wouldn’t have joy if it weren’t for knowing the contrast of sadness.
With the Full Moon coming on Wednesday, this week is giving us a great boost of confidence and reasons for celebrating, but we may still be feeling a tug or undercurrent of grief trying to pull us down. We may find ourselves getting pulled into the intricacies of relationship issues and our needs, not just what we need from others, but also what we need from ourselves.
Honoring our grief is part of that! And there’s a lot to grieve! There’s a lot going on, so imagine, not allowing ourselves to grieve, how that can numb us, harden our hearts, or cause us to dissociate due to self-preservation.
Imagine what the world would look like if grieving was honored in our society, if there were actually places and spaces dedicated to honoring and processing grief, together, if our societal infrastructure was set up to allow for people to take a good month or more off work to mourn and grieve when a loved one dies or there is a big tragedy, imagine if there were rituals supported by community and everyone ‘got it’.
Yes, religions have their traditions and technologies, but how many of them really support this facet of things fully, in a way that honors our human feelings, rather than asking us to just 'give it to God / Allah' and in effect dismissing our sorrows and asking us to dissociate from the pain we're feeling?
WEDNESDAY the 1st - Full Moon in Libra arrives, helping us to clear our path forward into this action-packed, fiery, motivating energy of April. We will have NO planets in retrograde!
April is going to be a month to set goals, dream big, make action plans, and execute them! This is the time for your prep work, cleansing, and getting ready for the next flurry of activity to come.
This lunation is begging us to examine what true Justice and Liberty are. What’s in balance, what’s out of balance? What does equity truly mean?
Who can I work with that is working toward bringing that balance? Who do I know that is trying to redistribute wealth and resources a bit more equitably, trying to bring balance and see that everyone has enough of what they need? Is there a person, an organization, or company that’s focused on a cause like that which you might want to get involved with?
This Full Moon is having a party with the hype queen Jupiter. This square is bringing a bit of cheerleading energy, some extra confidence.
The part of your chart that contains Libra is being bathed in bright light, so check out that part of your chart to see what’s being illuminated. Especially if you think about what you’ve been cultivating in this area of your life over the last six months, how is that being reflected back to you this week?
What is holding you down or keeping you stuck and limited? It’s time to have a clear-cut conversation with yourself and take decisive action.
This is not a time to hold yourself back, play small, or remain in indecision. The time has come to make a choice, once and for all. The time has come to be clear about what you want and intentional with your actions, your energy, and how you are spending your time.
Jupiter, the planet of expansion, is activated under this Full Moon, and it’s likely that whatever is expanded will be exactly what needs our attention.
FRIDAY the 3rd - Venus, the ruler of this Full Moon, squares Pluto (planet of death and rebirth), yet again bringing more confidence-boosting and celebration energy, along with the reminder that it’s ok to grieve what’s lost, and lean into the practices that are grounding and also allow us to safely explore a bit of what’s happening in our own shadowlands. Remember that grieving isn’t a linear process.
What are the activities you can engage in that are comforting, restorative, and grounding for you? Spending time in nature, with pets, with people you love, meditating, journaling, humming, singing, dancing, walking, biking, these are just a few suggestions. What makes you feel good, even just for a bit? Small doses can assist with big shifts.
Grief is a cycle, and it moves in waves, often unexpected. Even if you’re fortunate enough to not have much in your personal life that is drawing grief out of you, there certainly also is plenty to grieve in the world, and there’s nothing wrong with you for feeling sorrow and sadness for the losses of people you’ve never met, or the loss of freedoms (yet again) in the Collective, or the loss of old simpler ways.
Allowing ourselves the time and space and rituals with which to grieve properly can be truly liberating and transformative.
Venus square Pluto is also a deep cathartic time to work something out with loved ones, whether it’s a partner, family member, or bestie. Go deep, say the thing, don’t be afraid, let yourself be vulnerable and receptive to change.
Mercury also trines Jupiter on Friday. This signals broad, expansive, big picture thinking so allow yourself to be supported by that with maybe digging a bit deeper in something you’re grieving, or letting yourself broaden your perspective to soften the sorrows a bit, let yourself be thoughtful in devising strategies to lean into and be supported by in your alchemizing.
This is a time to really understand and appreciate the full scope of your emotional intelligence and keep an open mind. It’s a great time for some really healing conversations
SUNDAY the 5th - more confidence! The Sun (exalted in Aries) squares Jupiter (exalted in Cancer), bringing some pep to our steps! Play time! Go for it! Victory is yours!
Easter Sunday, the time of return, resurrection, rebirth, feels very on point with what’s happening astrologically this year at this time. Keep in mind, even these religious traditions carry with them ancient technologies in their significations and rituals, although things about them have been distorted and misused over time. For those who are religious, the discerning can take what feels genuine and relevant and leave the rest.
Even if you’re not religious, this is a great day for celebrating, basking in the growing and glowing light of day, dressing up cute, going out for brunch or perhaps creating a picnic with loved ones. Winter’s over! Scan the horizon (in your consciousness). What’s feeling like that beacon of light and hope off in the distance? Move in that direction. Let it guide you forward.
Remember that joy and beauty-making are part of our resistance to the ugly fascist machine. Express yourself! Be free, unabashed! (Boundless!)
