What's in the air for the WEEK OF APRIL 6?
Forward momentum, go!
Stay in your center, and hold on to your seat or you may lose it!
There may be a bit of push and pull between the old and new this week.
If you imagine, when a snake sheds its skin, even when it's got most of it off, sometimes there are those few little pieces hanging on, and it might need to rub against a rock or tree to get it off. We are about 7 weeks out of the Year of the Wood Snake, and we may still feel a bit of last year clinging on, that last bit of skin that needs to be scrubbed off or released somehow.
Let yourself reflect this week on what this is for you, what is it of the old that you find yourself still clinging to? Old ways, old habits, old systems, relationships that you've outgrown... It's a great time to acknowledge that and work it out.
The fire horse is getting some fuel this week with Mars, Saturn, Neptune, and Chiron, all in Aries. This is an insane amount of Aries energy this week, so we’re going to need to work extra hard to stay grounded amidst all this fire. Venus has moved into earthy, grounding Taurus now, so she’ll help us out.
Being a personal planet, and in the space of newness more than any other planet right now, be wary that you don’t slip into the shadowy manifestations of immaturity or insecurity. Whatever your gender, this is the time to root into your feminine primordial power.
We’re dealing with a continuous onslaught of insanity and destruction from the subhumans who are supposed to be leading our countries. Deadly games are being played that we don’t want to win, but we don’t wanna lose either. Some of the scenarios on the table look very much like a lose lose situation.
But - the sun squaring Jupiter this past Sunday, April 5, brings massive expansion energy and a great boost of confidence. It’s time to open your mind to new possibilities, expand into your greatness, imagine something bigger and better for yourself than your current reality. Let yourself feel Boundless!
Jupiter, the great attractor, brings us abundance, bliss, joy, breaking through limits. Avoid overwhelm by staying grounded in your seat of power.
Be sure to stay aligned with your highest self, let that lead you (rather than fear). Stay grounded & recalibrated so you’re in a place to respond to life rather than react. Fear may rear its head, but don’t let it run the show. Keep your wits about you, and make decisions from that place.
Mars moves into its home sign of Aries this week, where he’s super happy and kinda full of himself. Full of energy. Keep your inner restless minions or little inner warriors occupied. Mars may be the planet of war, but he’s also the planet of courage. In Aries, the sign of anger and aggression, we could flip this energy on its head by bucking back against the system and refusing to play their game or follow their rules. This period is making its mark on history whether we like it or not. It really is time to be very mindful of our dollars and what they're funding.
Next week, we’ll be moving into some of the hardest astrology of the year with Mars and Saturn joining up on the 19th, then Mercury joining the party the next day on the 20th. It is going to feel crucial to focus on our priorities.
Remember who we are, why we’re here, what we need to get done, how we can do so, and be aware of the obstacles we’re facing so we know how to overcome them. A good time to handle your sh*t is over the next three weeks, we might really be able to get some things done. It could be that whatever ‘it’ is may be a bit difficult, risky even, but worth the efforts.
We may be feeling this week like Waaahhhh, I don’t wanna! We may feel like we’ve lost our verve, we’re not sure where we’re headed or what we’re supposed to be doing, (and so the guidance for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday is especially in response to that).
MONDAY the 6th - Neptune, the second to last outer planet to change signs, moves to 29 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also at 29 degrees of Taurus. This is the last gasp so to speak of the old Taurus energy, contributing to our desire to cling. (And this also has to do with the big human evolution phase going on between 2025 & 2027, the expansion of human consciousness that a lot of spiritual folks are saying humanity is going through.) Uranus will be the last to change signs, on the 26th of April.
TUESDAY the 7th - the Sun moves to its exaltation degree, so that’s a good day to summon some courage and answer to wherever it is that we’re being asked to step and be a leader in our lives.
WEDNESDAY the 8th - Mars, almost done with Pisces, sextile Uranus, brings ‘wrap it up’ energy, finishing touches, knock it out.
THURSDAY the 9th - Mars into Aries is what’s really bringing that go-go-go energy. We can do hard things. What challenge feels most worthy of your efforts in this moment?
Mercury is coming fully out of its shadow on this day, but it’s still partly in the old energy too, in Pisces, perhaps adding to the ‘clinging’ energy.
SUNDAY the 12th - Mars and Neptune link up, and it’s best not have any big expectations of yourself or anyone else for that matter. You might want to sleep in and just have a generally ‘lazy’ day.
This week and next, we are also touching back to that Saturn Neptune conjunction from late February where everything changed. That pain point may be getting tweaked a bit. So just check in with your priorities and let yourself be extra clear on what is most important to deal with right now.
Root to Rise.
Ground down to expand upwards and outwards.
Let yourself feel simultaneously held and supported
by the Earthly energies of Pachamama
and the Cosmic energies of the Universe.
Again, remember to Stop Giving Your Power Away!
Remember your sovereignty.
Some suggestions for your reflection, ‘downloading,’ and journaling:
How does it feel to let yourself open your mind to new possibilities, expand into your greatness, imagine something bigger and better for yourself than your current reality?
How can you let your alignment with your highest self and manifestation path lead you with small actionable items every day?
What can you see &/or feel that you’re still clinging to?
We’re not done letting go, that work is never done. So I know we’ve been doing some good release work, but it’s time to acknowledge where you may still be clinging to some old ways of being, old habits, old thinking, old aspects of self, old systems, old perceptions of self.
What are the ways you are being called to step up and lead in your life?
What leadership strategies can you put to the test, especially in your career or public-facing life?
What is something brave and courageous you can do in the coming weeks to show up for your community?
