Anytime, anywhere! Gather your crew, and bring me to you. This is not your typical Paint & Sip! Learn to make your own original masterpiece. Rather than everyone creating variations of the same composition, each person’s painting will be uniquely their own. No experience needed. Invite your friends, sip some wine or adaptogenic non-alcoholic beverages, and enjoy unleashing your creative spirit. Led by local artist Artis Mooney, get acquainted with the materials and process, and then explore texture, color, layers, and the soul-soothing joy of painting! Artis will guide you in the art of letting the paint intuitively lead you, or in making a planned composition come to life. The first half hour is for introductions - to each other & to the materials, choosing your colors, percolating on what you want to paint, choosing your materials, and getting all set up. The last half hour is dedicated to looking at each other’s work and having a discussion about each painter’s process. I suggest you come wearing 'paint clothes', and if we are meeting in person, you will be provided with all the supplies necessary. We will be painting with acrylic and watercolors. Some drawing supplies are provided as well. Acrylic dries permanent on clothing but washes off your hands easily. Pre-paid registration is required so that we can properly prepare for you. If in person, all painting materials and 2 beverages included. (This workshop can be offered virtually for a reduced rate since if you supply your own materials; or an additional rate if you'd like the materials prepped and shipped to you.) Register here so I have all your information, and we will have a call to finalize your price and booking. Generally, $600 is the starting price for small groups of up to 6-8 people. The per-person prices go down as the group size grows. Various factors affect pricing: location, who's providing chairs and tables, etc. The length of the workshop can be expanded if you'd like to incorporate this into the context of a retreat or a wellness offering. You must pay to book the date (minimum 50% deposit; most pay the entire amount).
