About the event

Pari Darnell opens with a special yin / yang yoga practice designed to facilitate this Spring Awakening; to gather and draw energy inward, and then release it outwardly as a metaphorical planting of seeds.

Pari will be accompanied by the legendary Rob Myers of Thievery Corporation with live sitar, an ancient musical instrument that has often been associated with euphoria and deep transformation.

Artis Moon will close out the workshop with a sound healing journey + guided journaling, art-making, and soul circle to integrate, fully balance, and fine tune mind, body, and spirit. Daydream about all you see blossoming for you in the coming year.

At 4 pm, we will enjoy social time and Persian tea & treats with Chef Sayeh. (It’s also Persian New Year, and we’re honored to have her collaborating with us for this!)

Spring is an opportunity for renewal and rebirth — for planting seeds to nurture, and to witness the embodiment - in and all around us - of the unending cycle of growth and change.

It is also a reminder that we cannot be born anew until we experience a sort of death — a shedding of old layers, habits, and outmoded beliefs.

The spring awakening intention is to shift into wonder and curiosity, which allows an opening to a deeper wisdom. Our power is in a shift from the perspective where not-knowing could be seen as weakness or being powerless - to a new way of being, where wonder and curiosity are the ultimate source of power and strength.

When we recognize that each waking moment is an opportunity to be born again, it is here, in the Now, that we can experience the sheer joy of present moment awareness.

In the Northern Hemisphere, the Vernal Equinox (on March 20 this year) has been honored for thousands of years as a celebration of life and fertility; a time for striking a balance between yin and yang, and as a “spring cleaning” of stagnant energy that has been stored over the long, dark and cold winter months. It’s a good time to weed the garden of your consciousness to make way for what you wish to grow.

There’s also a new moon 🌚 in Aries the following day, on March 21! When there’s a New Moon in Aries, a phase which happens in Spring at the beginning of the astrological year when the Sun is in Aries, there’s no better time to take a new idea and put it into motion. We all feel like we’re at the beginning of a major cycle during the Aries New Moon. In a way, this is the time to think about the things in life that you want to explore, what you want to do, the seeds that you want to plant, the future you are co-creating.

Create a manifestation portal with us & take it home with you as a reminder of the path ahead of you.
