About the event

Due to demand, I am bringing this workshop back a second time, and sometime this winter will offer a virtual retreat giving us even more time to Be with this process.

Grief is inconvenient. Often things happen in our lives that don't receive the time and honor, the Pause, that is deserved. Busy life in the 21st Century is rolling along, and it doesn't stop for tragedy, we usually have to just keep going... and stuff the pain and sorrow down.

The Grief festers, it aches like a load of stones you carry in your belly, it bubbles to the surface at unexpected and sometimes inconvenient times.

This is a cultural issue. And especially in this year of the Pandemic, renewed Fight for Equality, and continued Climate Change crises, one that an increasing number of people have been experiencing, whether they've lost a loved one, a way of life, their livelihood, their career outlook for foreseeable future, or even at times, hope for humanity. Rarely, in our society, are we afforded the sacred space to mourn and grieve properly, so we can perhaps reach some resolve, feel sorrow for What or Who we've lost, and release it, with love.

In this special FREE workshop, I am here to provide that sacred space for you - to feel all the feels, process your loss, Honor Your Grief, and lay to rest that loss, which you cannot control - so that perhaps going forward the burden is lightened or lifted.

Take some private time in for yourself to be held in this sacred space and feel all the feels, in the privacy of your own home. So you can let go. Cry it out. Scream it out. Or process quietly. Whatever it is you need. I'm here for you.

I will lovingly guide you through this process with meditation & journeying, sound healing, writing, drawing, & a ceremonial release. There will also be an opportunity for optional sharing at the end. This work transcends religious orientation, & as always, is open to people of all ethnicities, religions, races, genders, and sexual orientation - anyone who comes with an open heart.

I am providing this complimentary workshop as a Seva, a service to my fellow human beings, from my heart to yours.

I was inspired to do so because this theme of unresolved Grief has been looming large, this year, especially. I know people who, for various reasons, have lost children, mothers, fathers, wives, sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents, pets, and other Dear Ones. I know musicians who have had to move out of the City and move in with their parents due to their entire livelihood being upended by this Pandemic. I know teenagers who came of age during this year and are afraid of what their future looks like, feeling that their hope & dreams have been dashed by this new reality that has no end in sight as of yet, and feeling fear for their safety in the future due to an increasingly conservative political weight (Supreme Court for one) who clearly value some lives over others. It can all be very heavy.

And, I know that as we head into the Winter holiday season, these feelings becomes especially potent for many, in a time that is not all Delight for some folx, a time that can actually already be very triggering for some of us. I'm here for you. Perhaps you can head into this season with a little more lightness in your heart.

After the workshop, donations are welcome if so moved, which support the scholarships I provide, for those who are struggling financially, to attend my programming. It is always my policy that money should not be an obstacle if you are drawn to work with me.
